When you log into your Admin area of your shopping cart (ie: www.YOURWEBSITE.com/ADMIN), the first area you will see is your orders. Since this is your first time logging in you won't have any orders *smile* so let's discuss what you need to do first.

1. Click on CONFIGURATION located towards the bottom left side on the screen.

To edit each field you must click on it - then click the EDIT button to the right of your screen.

• Enter Store Name
• Enter Your Name (if you wish - if not leave it blank or just enter your store name again)
• The next 3 boxes (Email Addresses) can all be the same (most people do it that way).
• Country - is pre-set for United States
• Zone - this is for Tax Purposes if you charge tax.
  
• Store Address & Phone - you can put your actual address or simply put in your website URL and Email Address
• Default Country - pre-set for United States

Now the following is all OPTIONAL - you can leave them as is or edit them. To edit each one, simply click on it, click the EDIT button to the right of your screen and check the TRUE Option.

• Gift Registry - you can offer a gift registry on your website.
• Affiliate Program - you can offer an affiliate program. Configuration of the actual Affiliate program is done in another area.... we will discuss that later. 
• Link Exchange - this is a great way to get more return customers.
• Shipping Calculator - if you plan on offering shipping then enable this to offer a calculator. Configuration of the actual shipping is done in another area.... we will discuss that later.
• Enable New Products - you can opt to have all "recently added products" show up on the main page of your website.
  
• Upcoming Products - these will show up under "New Products". If you plan on offering something in the future and know the expected date then this is a good thing to use!

Finally you are done with Part 1 of the configuration.
